It’s funny how things turn out, isn’t it? This weekend we were supposed to go to a Mardi Gras parade with some friends, but last night Dax had a fever and a bit of a cough. He woke up this morning very early feeling not-so-great, so we decided to stay in this weekend and let Dax get some R&R. I had some ideas for making VDay cards to exchange with Dax’s little preschool classmates (he is in the Parent’s Day Out Program twice a week and he loves it!). I headed out to Hobby Lobby for some crafty supplies while Chris and Dax lounged on the sofas and watched cartoons.
Dax was feeling better when I returned (bouncing off the walls actually, lol), so I thought it would be a good time to set up a little card making station of sorts. Then I let him go to town making cards. And the cutest robots & monkeys I have ever seen!
DIY Valentine’s Cards Supply List:
-Glassine Envelopes & Heavy Card Stock (I used A2 Size) Hobby Lobby
-Baker’s Twine Hobby Lobby
-Valentine’s Craft Kits (I used Robots + Monkeys) Hobby Lobby
-Valentine’s Flags/ Cupcake Toppers Hobby Lobby
-Red/Pink/Gray Paint, Crayons, Markers, Colored Pencils, Glitter, Poms
-A Busy Toddler
We were all pretty tired by the time Dax was done creating, so I packaged up the goodies and tied them up with baker’s twine.
Pretty cute, don’t you think?

Those are absolutely adorable and perfect coming from a little guy!!
Happy Valentine’s to you!
Anna
