Mini Studio Tour

Now that my new desk is all set up and in place, I thought I’d give you a mini studio tour. I say ‘mini’ because it’s just my desk area. Warning- it’s very purple!

I received a box from my bestie today, and when I opened it up- guess what was inside? Yep, the Crosley Kettle Classic phone that I had on my wishlist. It’s even more beautiful in person too =)

It sits nicely on the corner of my new desk, and it’s extremely shiny and eye catching. I tend to be drawn towards shiny/glittery/cute things, so it fits right in. It’s a lot heavier than I expected it to be, and it even rings like an old time phone. (Thank you Tessie!!!)

My desk area is sprinkled with things I’ve collected,  as well as functional things (computer, speakers, printers, etc). Here’s a picture of the (very big!) desk in it’s new home.

The purple beanie baby kitten (above) was a gift from my hubby, as well as the purple robot dog that guards the place (hehe). He sits on the top shelf above my desk, along with some large glittered ornaments.

I also have my two goldfish next to my desk. They keep me company in a fishy kid of way.

The shelves above my desk hold a few random items. The purple bride figure was something I got right after my wedding, and Chris has the groom sitting on his desk- they are so cute! The neopet has traveled with me for a while too, he used to sit on my old desk when I worked at a casual video game company.

And last but not least is a shelf with my basket of swatchbooks, and a glittered wooden ‘V’… Oh yeah! And the tiny blue birdie- he looks a lot like the birdie in my logo.
